No Talking by Andrew Clements came in second place.

We have used  Book Fair proceeds this year to  start a new collection of Spanish language books and books on CD.   Many, many thanks to all of you who worked so hard to make this possible!

How: Read one of your favorite books to SPA students

SPA is celebrating National Young Readers Week by inviting

parents and friends to be our “ celebrity readers ” during

the week of November 10 –14, 2008. All you have to do

is choose a favorite book, find a convenient time and

come read to one of our classes.

You may read to your own child ’ s class or any grade you

choose. Pick a book that you remember from your childhood

or one your child loves to hear. Just find a day and time

that works for you and we will find a class for you.

(Classes are every 45 minutes from 8:30 –2:45.)
